About The Messenger
The Messenger is an action platformer that starts as a linear 8-bit-style game. Partway through, the world opens into a Metroidvania where players switch between 8-bit and 16-bit time periods to solve puzzles and reach new areas. Witty dialogue and a shopkeeper's stories accompany the journey.
